Shunsuke Kiyokiba is a J-pop and rock singer. He was born on January 11, 1980, in Ube, Yamaguchi. He first became involved with music playing in a band during his middle school years. At age 20, after briefly working in construction, he won a vocal audition that led to a spot in the band Exile. He debuted as a vocalist and dancer for the group Exile, initially under the stage name Shun. Shunsuke Kiyokiba embarked on his solo career with the release of his debut single "Itsuka..." in 2005, after participating in a tribute album for Yutaka Ozaki in 2004. This transition was solidified when he announced his departure from Exile to pursue a solo career. This coincided with a shift in music style, leaning closer to the rock genre. Shunsuke Kiyokiba released his first solo album, the self-titled Shunsuke Kiyokiba, in 2005. This was followed by albums such as IMAGE (2007) and Rockin' the Door (2008), released under labels such as Rhythm Zone and Victor Entertainment. In 2013, he released the album FIGHTING MEN, preceded by the promotional single "Fighting Man." Later in 2013, the live album ROCK&SOUL 2013 "FIGHTING MEN" TOUR FINAL 2013.7.13 at大阪城ホール followed. His twelfth album REBORN (2017) marked a high point of popularity. In 2024, after some years absent from the music scene, Shunsuke Kiyokiba released the single "HANGOUT," marking a long-awaited comeback.
