Shotmaker, a Canadian emo-core band from Belleville, Ontario, was formed in 1993. In 1995, Shotmaker released the album The Crayon Club, followed by the split single with Maximillian Colby. Their second full-length album, Mouse Ear [Forget-Me-Not], was released in 1996. The band's unique sound, characterized by emotional hardcore elements and complex guitar passages, influenced the emo genre significantly. Despite disbanding in 1996, Shotmaker's legacy endured through compilation releases, like The Complete Discography 1993-1996, in 2000.
