Henry Laufer, known professionally as Shlohmo, was born on January 3, 1990, in Los Angeles, California. He is an American electronic musician and record producer. Laufer's debut EP Shlo-Fi was released in 2009. In 2011, Shlohmo gained critical recognition with the release of his album Bad Vibes. He followed this success with several EPs, including Vacation (2012) and Laid Out (2013), and notable remixes such as Drake and The Weeknd's "Crew Love" and Banks' "Brain". Shlohmo released his second studio album, Dark Red, in 2015. He has collaborated with various artists, including Jeremih on the joint EP No More (2014) and Corbin on the debut LP Mourn (2017). His third LP, The End, was released in March 2019 through Friends of Friends label. In 2019, Shlohmo composed his first score for the soundtrack of the film Share, before releasing the album Repulsor on October 31, 2025.
