Biography
Shin Yongâjae, born 1â¯Novemberâ¯1989 in Seoul, is a South Korean soul and R&B singer who began his career as a member of the vocal duo 2F. After completing his studies at Seoul Arts University, he debuted with the EP Firstâ¯Kiss in 2008, followed by Voiceâ¯Ofâ¯Autumn in 2009 and Theâ¯3rdâ¯Generation in 2010. In 2012 he released the fullâlength album 24, entirely produced by him. His breakthrough came with the digital single âRemembering Youâ in 2015, which established him as a solo artist. Subsequent releases include Present in 2018, Dear in 2020, and the collaborative project 4MEN â Theâ¯Soloâ¯Projectâ¯#1 in 2023. Shin Yongâjae contributed to television soundtracks, notably âAlways Okayâ for Romanticâ¯Doctorâ¯Kim (2017) and âFlowerâ¯ofâ¯Evilâ for Flowerâ¯ofâ¯Evil (2020). He appeared on MBCâs Maskâ¯Singer in 2016â2017, securing the 86th and 88th season titles. His work earned chart placements on the Gaon Digital Chart. The artist continues to release new music, with the 2025 single âBREATHEâ and the 2026 collaboration âIâ¯willâ¯goâ¯toâ¯youâ¯likeâ¯theâ¯firstâ¯snowâ. His contribution to Before We Knew is "Maybe this is the beginning of my love," released in March 2026 for the series, which entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 32 the same week.
