Alen VonShea Norman, who went by the stage name Shea Norman, was born on November 2, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was an American singer and gospel musician. Raised by his minister father, Reverend James A. Norman, Shea Norman began his musical journey and got the chance to minister under the tutelage of Reverend Carl Payne at the Church of God in Christ in Millington. His music career commenced in 2004 with the release of My Heart Depends on You via Verity Records, which marked his breakthrough onto the Billboard Gospel Albums chart at number 17. The album included the notable track "'Tis So Sweet", featured on the compilation album WOW Gospel 2005. He passed away on October 26, 2017, at the age of 45.
