Biography
South Korean singer Ong Seong Wu was born in the city of Incheon in 1995 and made it into the public eye when he became a contestant on the popular Korean reality talent show 'Produce 101'. His appearances on the show during the 2017 series impressed the judges and voters enough to earn the young singer a place in Wanna One, a boy band created by the show's producers. Wanna One was a relatively short-lived entity lasting just 18 months before breaking up.
During his tenure with the band he launched an acting career and appeared in a Korean TV drama as well as a number of variety shows. After the demise of Wanna One, Ong Seong Wu launched his career as a solo artist with his most notable work to date being 'Heart Sign'.
