Seekae was an Australian electronic music trio formed in Sydney in 2006. The group consisted of Alex Cameron, George Nicholas, and John Hassell, who originally performed indie rock as Commander Keen before transitioning to experimental electronic music. They released their debut studio album, The Sound of Trees Falling on People, independently in 2008, which earned the Soundclash grant from the Australian Arts Council. Their 2011 follow-up album, +Dome, brought the ensemble international attention and highlighted influences from the post-dubstep and ambient scenes. In 2012, they issued the 12" single â3â. The band's third studio album, The Worry, was released in September 2014 and marked a stylistic shift by incorporating the vocals of frontman Cameron. Seekae toured extensively across Europe, North America, and Japan before disbanding in 2016. The group gave their final performance in 2016 as a support act for The Jesus and Mary Chain.
