Biography

Scott Alexander Brown, born 28 December 1972 in Glasgow, Scotland, is a Scottish DJ and producer whose career has spanned techno, hardcore, and rave genres. He first entered the scene in the early 1990s, releasing the single "I'll Show You My Gun" under the alias Annihiliator for Mokum Records in 1994, which marked his entry into the UK hardcore circuit. Scott Alexander Brown’s breakthrough came with the 1999 album Do What Ya Like, released on Mainframe Records, establishing him as a prolific figure in electronic music. In the early 2000s he expanded his output with the Hardwired and Livewired album series, and his track "Elysium" gained renewed attention in 2006 when remixed by Ultrabeat and featured in the game Beatmania IIDX 11 – IIDX RED. Scott Alexander Brown founded several labels, including Evolution Records and its subsidiaries, and collaborated with acts such as Q‑Tex. By 2011 he had released his one‑hundredth EP on Evolution Records, underscoring his sustained productivity. His productions have appeared on the Bonkers compilation series, one of the best‑selling hardcore compilations, and tracks like "Definition of a Bad Boy" and "Synthetic Dreams" remain staples in club sets worldwide.
