Biography

Saturday Looks Good to Me was an indie pop band from Ann Arbor, Michigan, formed in 2000 by Fred Thomas. Initially a solo project, Thomas released nine songs on vinyl, drawing inspiration from Motown and 1960s pop. The band's debut album, Saturday Looks Good to Me, was released in 2000 and reissued on CD in 2002. This caught the attention of emo band Saves the Day, leading to a tour together and subsequent signing with Polyvinyl Records. In 2003, Saturday Looks Good to Me released All Your Summer Songs followed by Every Night. After releasing Fill Up The Room in 2007, Thomas focused on other projects, leading to the band's dissolution. In 2012, Saturday Looks Good to Me reformed and released the single "Sunglasses" and the album One Kiss Ends It All.
