Biography

Sarcofagus, a Finnish heavy metal band, was formed in 1977. The group's frontman, Kimmo Kuusniemi, led the band through its early years, which included releasing their first single "Go To Hell / All Those Lies" in 1979. Their debut albums Envoy Of Death and Cycle Of Life, both released in 1980, marked significant milestones in their career. Due to legal issues, the band was forced to use the name Kimmo Kuusniemi Band for their 1982 release Moottorilinnut. Sarcofagus left behind a notable discography that includes Core Values (2007).
