Sara Kristina Larsson, known professionally as SaRaha, was born on June 26, 1983, in Vänersborg, Sweden. She moved to Tanzania with her family in 1985 and later began her music career in Zimbabwe at the age of 18. Her breakout hit in Tanzania came in 2011 with the song "Tanesco". In 2014, she released her debut album Mbele Kiza, which gained attention both in Tanzania and Sweden. She participated in Melodifestivalen 2016 with the song "Kizunguzungu", placing ninth overall. SaRaha also contributed as a songwriter for Andreas Johnson's entry "Army of Us" in Melodifestivalen 2019 and Fröken Snusk's song "Unga & fria" in Melodifestivalen 2024.
