Samite Mulondo, known professionally as Samite, is a Ugandan musician. He is recognized for his work with traditional African instruments, including the flute and kalimba. Samite's music career began after moving to the United States, where he released several notable albums including Abaana Bakesa (1990), Pearl of Africa Reborn (1994), Silina Musango (1996), and Embalasasa (2005). His music is rooted in Ugandan folklore and often reflects the experiences and concerns of Ugandans. He co-founded Musicians for World Harmony, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing music to African orphans.
