Biography

British singer, songwriter, pianist and producer Sam Clegg was born in Keighley, West Yorkshire, on August 12, 1998. He wrote his first songs at the age of eleven and developed his career nine years later, in 2018. After recording a self-produced debut album released in June 2019, Conflicting Emotions, the singer followed up with the pop singles "Alien" and "Don't Let Me Go" in 2020. Since then, he has returned every year with a single new ballad-like track in the run-up to Christmas, with proceeds going to charity. These include "I Wanna Grow Old with You" in 2021, "All Night Long" in 2022, "One Moment More" in 2023 and "Send Me a Sign" in 2024. In 2025, her annual "Angel on the Tree" breaks into the UK charts, reaching number 8 in the singles chart and number 5 in the downloads chart.
