Louis Mark Dunford is a musician born in Camden, London on January 20, 1992. The son of actress Linda Robson and Mark Dunford, he gained an interest in music at the age of 15, after his family moved into a house with a piano. He began by playing Elton John songs and mixing them with his own poetry. After learning guitar due to the loudness of the piano, he played his first gig at The Library pub. Dunford gained recognition when Jamal Edwards discovered his song "When We Were Hooligans" on Internet in 2014. His music is known for reflecting his experiences and friends in North London. He released his first EP, The Morland EP, in 2015, with the single "London's Requiem" becoming popular. In 2021, Dunford signed with Sony Music and released a cover of East 17's hit single "Stay Another Day". In 2022, he supported Jake Bugg on tour and released his second EP, The Popham EP, featuring the song "The Angel (North London Forever)", which became an anthem for Arsenal F.C. fans. Dunford is an Arsenal fan himself and wrote the song to celebrate North London's culture and sense of community. The song was featured in the documentary series All or Nothing: Arsenal. In 2024, Dunford released the song "Billy Flynn of Bethnal Green", followed by other singles leading to his first album Be Lucky (2025).
