Biography

Although of Australian origin, Rozlyne Clarke is associated with the Eurodance movement, with most of her hits set in France. Born Roslyn Howell on October 4, 1967 in Sydney, she made her debut as a dancer and singer in musicals such as Sugar Babies, Starlight Express, Cats and Grease. Her tours took her to Europe, where in 1991 Rozlyne Clarke released the dance single "Eddy Steady Go ", which reached number one in clubs in France. The love affair continued with the hits "Gorgeous" and "Dancing Is Like Making Love ", as well as the album Gorgeous. Success was short-lived, and the 1995 album Faithful to You was a flop. Rozlyn Clarke made a last attempt in 1996 and 1997 with two singles sung in French, but these failed to revive her career. Married and now Rozlyne Vidal, the former singer became a professional make-up artist in Australia.
