Biography

Royal Coda, an American post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California, was formed in 2017 by guitarist Sergio Medina. The group initially consisted of Medina, vocalist Kurt Travis, and drummer Joseph Arrington. Royal Coda signed with Blue Swan Records and released their debut album Royal Coda in April 2018, featuring singles "Anything to Save", "Cut Me Under", and "Breathe Correct". Following the release, they embarked on tours supporting Tilian and Dance Gavin Dance. In November 2019, Royal Coda released their second album Compassion, which included the single "Numbing Agent" and featured guitarist Will Swan. The band's third album, To Only a Few At First, was released in 2022 with singles "We Slowly Lose Hope for Things to Come" and "Screen Time Over Load".
