A pivotal figure in the sevillanas and rumba genres, he achieved significant success in the 1980s where he released albums such as his self-titled debut in 1987 and Poderío in 1989. His compositions became staples of the Feria de Abril, such as the iconic “Creó Andalucía” and “Sevilla tiene un color especial"; the latter became a global hit for Los del Río. Throughout his career, he collaborated with virtuoso guitarists such as Vicente Amigo and Rafael Riqueni. He passed away in 2005.
