Biography
Robin & Linda Williams is an American folk music duo from Virginia. Robin and Linda Williams met in 1971 and began performing together in 1973. The duo appeared on the radio program A Prairie Home Companion beginning in 1975. In 1993, the pair toured with Mary Chapin Carpenter and provided vocals for her album Stones in the Road. The duo's discography included the recordings All Broken Hearts Are the Same (1988) and Rhythm of Love (1990). In 1996, the album Sugar for Sugar spent 11 weeks in the top twenty of the Americana chart in the Gavin Report. The pair recorded Deeper Waters in 2004 and appeared in the film A Prairie Home Companion.
