Biography

Born on the Isle of Man (Irish Sea) in 1949 and dying in London in May 2012, Robin Gibb was the lead singer of The Bee Gees, a pop and then disco group formed in the 1960s with two of his brothers, Maurice and Barry. In addition to the group's international disco successes, Robin Gibb also enjoyed a solo career, with albums ranging from Robin's Reign in 1970 to Magnet in 2003. He died of cancer in 2012, aged 62, leaving a final album, 50 St. Catherine's Drive, released two years later.
