Marion Brunetto, born in Ramatuelle (Var), is the French multiâinstrumentalist and frontwoman of Requin Chagrin, founded in Paris in 2012. After learning guitar at twelve, she added drums, bass and keyboards, and met Loïc Pouliquen to form Alphatra before creating Requin Chagrin. The debut single "Adelaïde" appeared in 2014, followed by the selfâtitled album Requin Chagrin in 2015 on Laâ¯Souterraine. Signed with Nicola Sirkisâs KMSâ¯Disques, the band released Sémaphore (2019), Byeâ¯Byeâ¯Baby (2021) and Décollage (2026), the last recorded at ICP Studios, Bruxelles. They performed at La Route du Rock, the Transmusicales de Rennes, and opened for Indochine in 2018 at Accordâ¯Arena before 10,000 fans. In 2022 Requin Chagrin teamed with Anaïs Demoustier on "Crush", and in 2024 contributed "Girlfriend" to Indochineâs Babelâ¯Babel.
