Biography
Ophélie-Marie Moisan, better known by her stage name Al.Hy, was born in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, in northern France, on November 15, 1993. After training in piano and singing, she won several competitions and gained recognition through her participation in the first French season of the TV show *The Voice* (*La plus belle voix*), during which she was selected by Jenifer and finished in third place. Shortly thereafter, Mercury released a compilation of the songs she performed on the talent show, including covers of Niagara, The Verve, Barbara, 4 Non Blondes, Nina Simone, Kate Bush, and Edith Piaf. In 2013, Al.Hy moved on to original compositions with a self-titled EP, followed by the album *Alphabête* in 2014. In 2017, a stay in New York with David Bowieâs producer, Mark Plati, inspired the creation of the concept album *Alarmonie*, which was conceived in the United States and released as an album in 2026. In the meantime, Al.Hy released the album *Une Grande Chose* (2021) and the EP *Les Copines* (2023). She also contributed to the soundtrack for the series *Ici tout commence* and to the *The Voice Allstars* project in 2021.
