Biography

Timothy Andrew Bluhm, born July 22, 1970, in Southern California, is an American musician recognized as a singer and guitarist. Bluhm co-founded The Mother Hips with Greg Loiacono, Isaac Parsons, and Mike Wofchuck in 1991 while attending California State University, Chico. The band released their debut album, Back to the Grotto, in 1993. Over the years, Bluhm has participated in several side projects, including duos like Ball-Point Birds and collaborations with Jackie Greene under The Skinny Singers. He also established Mission Bells Studio in 2006, producing albums for various artists. His solo discography includes California Way (1999) and Sorta Surviving (2019).
