Biography
Razzmattazz, a German rock band, was formed in Metzingen in 2011 by Tom Schaupp. The band's debut album, Rock n Roll Hero, was released in 2012, preceded by their first EP First Bullet (2012). Razzmattazz gained significant recognition by winning the Rock of Ages Festival's public contest in 2013 and opening for Nazareth on several occasions, including their Diggin' for Gold - Tour 2017. The band also supported Axxis during their Monster-Hero-Tour in 2018. Razzmattazz has released multiple albums, including Sons of Guns (2015), Digginâ for Gold (2017), and Hallelujah (2019). They have received numerous awards, such as the Akademia Award for Best Rock Song in March 2018 and April 2019 and multiple Deutscher Rock- und Pop-Preis awards from the DRMV, including four consecutive wins.
