Biography

Ralf Illenberger, born on December 20, 1956, in Stuttgart, Germany, is a guitarist. His career began in 1977 with performances alongside Jürgen Kirsch. He then formed the duo Kolbe & Illenberger with Martin Kolbe, releasing their debut album Waves in 1978, which was nominated for the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis. The duo released six more albums by 1987 and performed extensively. Illenberger founded Ralf Illenberger’s Circle in 1987, releasing a self-titled album in 1988 that reached top 10 on Pulse! magazine's yearly list. Notable albums include Heart & Beat (1990), featuring the radio hit "Heart & Beat" in the USA, and Soleil (1993). In 1995, Illenberger began recording in his Sedona, Arizona studio, releasing albums such as Sedona (1995) and One Mind (2014). He has collaborated with artists like Susan Osborn and Lenedra Carroll.
