Pumajaw, a Scottish electronic duo composed of Pinkie Maclure and John Wills, formed in 1994 when Wills produced Maclure's solo album. Originally known as Pinkie Maclure and John Wills, the duo changed their name following their move to Scotland from London in 2001. Their debut album From Memorial Crossing was released in 2000, followed by Becoming Pumajaw in May 2006, Curiosity Box (2008), and more. The group is known for their rich, cinematic arrangements and jazz-inflected vocals, blending influences from film soundtracks, jazz, psychedelic folk, and electronica. They have toured extensively in Europe, Russia, and the USA. In 2013, Pumajaw recorded an album of songs from film noir titled Song Noir, which became a multimedia stage production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The duo has also been known by other names such as Lumen and Fingerfood. They released the album Scapa Foolscap in 2022.
