Biography

Possum Dixon was an American rock band formed in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. The group initially performed as a duo before expanding to include Robert O'Sullivan on guitar and keyboards and Rich Truel on drums. They released several independently produced singles, including "Music for a One Bedroom Apartment" and "Nerves". In 1993, Possum Dixon signed to Interscope Records and released their self-titled debut album, which featured the hit single "Watch the Girl Destroy Me", reaching number 9 on the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks chart. The band toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. They released two EPs, Sunshine or Noir and A Tropic of Celso, in 1996, before their 1998 album, New Sheets. Following this release, the group disbanded.
