Biography

Poptone is a rock band formed in early 2017 by British musicians Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins, along with Diva DompÃ©. The trio initially announced their formation through a press release highlighting their intention to revisit their extensive musical catalogues and present them in a fresh direction. Ash and Haskins had previously collaborated in bands such as Bauhaus, Tones on Tail, Love and Rockets, and the Bubblemen. In December 2017, Poptone released an eponymous live album recorded during various tour stops, which was self-released through PledgeMusic. The band's studio debut Poptone followed in 2018 under Cleopatra Records.
