Jesuseater was a hardcore band from Baltimore, United States of America. The band was formed in early 2000 by four members who were all professional tattoo artists at the time, namely Shawn Brown, Brady Duncan, James Hughes, and Matt Rinks. Lead singer Shawn Brown had previously been involved with bands such as Dag Nasty, Swiz, and Sweetbelly Freakdown. Jesuseater released their first EP, Jesuseater, in 2001. Their debut album, Step Inside My Death Ray, was released in 2002, under the label Deathwish Inc. The band's music is described as hardcore with a punk attitude, featuring rockier hooklines but also dark and repetitive elements. Jesuseater disbanded in 2003 after two years of activity.
