Plan de Escape is a Regional Mexican band composed of five members, led by vocalist Sergio Lizárraga Osuna and accordionist José Ángel Pérez Sandoval. Formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in 2018, Plan de Escape started as a project between school friends Sergio and José Ángel, who shared a deep love for music. After performing at family gatherings and local events, they formalized the band, driven by their shared passion. With fresh energy and a determination to succeed, Plan de Escape is poised to make a lasting impact on the Regional Mexican scene. The group made its debut with a bang, releasing their first single, "A pegar fuga" (2019) was a success on digital platforms, followed by "Tan solo tú" (2019) and the title track "Esto apenas comienza" (2020), included in their first album Esto apenas comienza (2020), in which they presented a unique blend of "norteño urbano." Signed to Lizos Music, the same label as Los 2 de la S, Plan de Escape quickly gained attention by landing on several key playlists such as "New Regional Mexican Playlist" and "Corridos del Año." That year, their duet "La escuela de la vida" alongside Los 2 de la S garnered over a million views online. In 2021, Plan de Escape released the EP Apuntando Hacia la Cima. The group continued to turn heads in the Regional Mexican music scene with other albums like Seguimos Subiendo (2022) and Mientras Otros Duermen (2023). 2024 saw the release of the single "Gominola," featuring Kevin AMF and Oscar Ortiz.
