Biography
Phoxjaw, a British rock band from Bristol, was formed in 2016, consisting of Danny Garland on vocals and bass, Kieran Gallop on drums, and Glenn Hawkins and Josh Gallop on guitar. Their debut single "Victorian Dolls" was released in 2017, followed by their first EP Goodbye Dinosaur... in 2018. The band signed with Hassle Records later that year and released their second EP A Playground for Sad Adults in 2019. Their debut album Royal Swan, produced by Lewis Johns, was released on July 3, 2020. In 2021, Phoxjaw received nominations for Best UK Breakthrough Band and Best Album Artwork at the Heavy Music Awards. The band's second studio album, Not Very Nice Cream, was initially scheduled for release in November 2022 but was ultimately released on June 2, 2023.
