Biography
Phil Anselmo forged his reputation as an elite metal screamer as the figurehead of Pantera from 1987 to 2003. Fond of side projects, Phil Anselmo created Down, which has had a real career since 1991. His many short-lived band participations also include Superjoint Ritual, Arson Anthem and Christ Inversion. In 2011 and 2012, he found time to record the solo album Walk Through Exits Only, released in July 2013 under the name Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals.
