Petr KoláŠwas born on June 20, 1967, in Äeské BudÄjovice, Czechoslovakia. KoláŠis a singer who was a member of the band Precedens in the late 1990s. The first solo album, Mackie Messer, appeared in 1999. KoláŠwas a member of the rock band Arakain from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, KoláŠreceived the AndÄl Award for Best Male Singer. Collaborations include work with musicians Michael Kocáb, Michal David, and Daniel Landa. Discography releases include the albums Akusticky v KarlÃnÄ (2009), Äas nás nauÄà (2011), and Na ŽofÃnÄ (2014). KoláŠalso performed in numerous musicals.
