Biography

The Peter Green Splinter Group was a British blues band formed in 1996, fronted by guitarist and singer Peter Green. Green had previously led Fleetwood Mac until his departure in 1970. After suffering a mental breakdown during the 1970s, he began touring and recording with the Splinter Group, releasing several albums including The Robert Johnson Songbook (1998), Destiny Road (1999), and Hot Foot Powder (2000). The group disbanded in early 2004 following Green's departure. Notable band members included Nigel Watson on guitar and vocals, Larry Tolfree on drums, and Pete Stroud on bass.
