Perry Keyes, born in 1966 in Australia, is a singer. He grew up in Redfern, Sydney, and began his musical journey as part of the Sydney band The Stolen Holdens. His debut album Meter was released in 2005, marking the start of his solo career. Keyes' second album, The Last Ghost Train Home, was named Radio National's Album of the Year in 2007 and was a finalist for the Australian Music Prize. His 2010 album Johnny Ray's Downtown earned an ARIA Award nomination. Subsequent releases include Sunnyholt (2015) and Jim Salmon's Lament (2018), both of which received positive reviews. Keyes' sixth album, Black & White Town, was released in November 2023.
