Biography

Peter Mario Weber, known professionally as Peach Weber, was born in 1952 in Wohlen, Kanton Aargau, Switzerland, and is a Swiss comedian and singer. After training as a primary school teacher, Weber's breakthrough came in 1976 at a talent festival in Zürich. He transitioned into comedy, gaining traction with his first national television appearance in 1978. His humorous songs became popular, earning him a place on the Swiss Hitparade. Weber released notable albums including So bin I halt… (1980), Tüppisch! (1982), and Underwägs mit Gägs (1984). His album Früsch vo de Läbere (1986) won the Prix Bernhard. In 2008, Weber announced his farewell tour "Fertig Luschtig" at the Zürcher Hallenstadion, with tickets selling out years in advance, a feat recognized by Guinness World Records. Despite retirement plans, he continued performing, releasing albums such as Mister Gaga (2011).
