Paul Rishell and Annie Raines are an American acoustic, country blues-inspired musical duo. They met in 1993 during the recording of Paul's album Swear to Tell the Truth. Their debut album as a duo, I Want You to Know, was released in 1996. In 2000, they released their second studio album, Moving to the Country, which won the Blues Music Award for Acoustic Blues Album of the Year. Their third studio album, Goin' Home, was released in 2004. The duo also released a live album titled A Night in Woodstock in 2008, which included interviews, guitar lessons, and commentary, and was also released in a DVD version. Paul Rishell is known primarily as a guitarist, while Annie Raines is renowned for her harmonica playing but also plays mandolin, zither, and keyboard instruments. Both sing on their recordings. They have collaborated with John Sebastian's J-Band and appeared on the soundtrack to A Prairie Home Companion.
