Biography
Paul Craft, born Paul Charles Craft on August 12, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee, was an American country singer-songwriter. Craft achieved notable success with Mark Chesnutt's single "Brother Jukebox" and Ray Stevens' novelty song "It's Me Again, Margaret". His compositions include "Keep Me From Blowing Away", recorded by various artists including Linda Ronstadt and Willie Nelson, and "Midnight Flyer" featured on the Eagles' album On the Border (1974). Craft released several albums including Paul Craft Warnings! (1986), Brother Jukebox (1998), Raised by the Railroad Line (2002), and Too Bad You're No Good (2007). He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 5, 2014. Craft passed away at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 18, 2014.
