Pat O'May, born Patrick on November 5, 1961, in Rouen, France, is a French guitarist and singer-songwriter. Inspired by Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple, O'May formed his first band, Sword, and later joined Marienthal, a prominent hard rock group in Rouen. With Marienthal, they released the album Prohibition (1985) and toured extensively across France, England, and Algeria. After Marienthal disbanded in 1986, O'May joined Road 66 and continued touring. In 1989, he settled in Brittany and began his solo career with the album Bob Up (1994). His subsequent albums included Kids & The War (1996) and Breizh-Amerika (1999), which featured collaborations with notable musicians. He also contributed to significant projects such as Alan Simon's opera-rock productions, including "Anne de Bretagne" and "Excalibur".
