Pappo y Hoy no es Hoy was an Argentine hard rock band formed in 1987 by Norberto AnÃbal Napolitano, known as Pappo. The group featured Pappo on lead guitar and vocals, Boff Serafine on second guitar, Juan "Locomotora" Espósito on drums, and Rubén RamÃrez on bass. Following the disbandment of Riff VII, Pappo returned to the music scene with this new project. In 1987, they released their sole album Plan diabólico, which showcased a hard & heavy style characteristic of the 1980s, featuring rapid guitar solos reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen's technique. The album was released by Talent/Microfón but did not achieve significant commercial success or widespread recognition.
