Biography
Paperwhite is an American synthpop duo based in New York City, comprising siblings Ben and Katie Marshall. Formed in 2014 after Katie graduated from the Berklee College of Music, they took their name from the flower species narcissus papyraceus. Their debut single "Got Me Goin'" was released in January 2014, followed by their first live show that same month. Paperwhite's debut EP, Magic, was streamed by Spin magazine in November 2014. The duo performed at the SXSW music festival in early 2015 and released "Get Away" later that year. In February 2016, Billboard premiered their single "Unstoppable". Paperwhite's single "Only Us" (2017) was notably picked up on an online chart's New Music Friday playlist in May 2017.
