Biography

Palast Orchester mit seinem Sänger Max Raabe is a German orchestra formed in 1986 at the University of the Arts Berlin. The group, founded by Max Raabe and classmates, performed popular, dance, and entertainment music from the 1920s and 1930s. Their debut album Die Männer sind schon die Liebe wert was released in 1988 and achieved a breakthrough with "Kein Schwein ruft mich an" in 1993. The orchestra has performed extensively, including notable concerts at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and Deutsches Theater in Munich.
