Shin Ok-cheol, known as Outsider, is a renowned South Korean rapper born on March 21, 1983. He gained fame for his remarkable speed-rapping skills, achieving a record of 16.15 syllables per second during a world record attempt. Outsider began his career in the underground scene with the 2004 EP "Come Outside," and his breakthrough came with the 2006 single "Speed Star." He was signed by hip-hop legend MC Sniper to Sniper Sound, leading to the release of his first full-length album, "Soliloquist," in 2007. His second album, "Maestro," released in 2009, solidified his mainstream success, particularly with the hit single "Loner," which topped charts for over five weeks. After serving in the military from 2010 to 2012, he returned with the album "Hero" and the popular track "Acquaintance." Following a legal dispute with Sniper Sound in 2013, Outsider launched his own label, ASSA Communication, and released "Rebirth Outsider."
