Biography
Oums, whose real name is Oumaima, is a Moroccan singer born and bred. Passionate about music from an early age, she trained at the conservatory in her city's old medina, where she honed her voice and artistic sensibility. In 2022, she launched herself onto the music scene with her first single"Layli", a track with a soft, introspective sound. In 2023, she made her mark with"Intention" and"Ntya", the latter a powerful evocation of the suffering experienced by women, from sexism to social stereotypes. In 2024, she returns with"NBGHIK ANA" and"Bladi", a vibrant tribute to her Moroccan roots.
