Osiris, a progressive rock band from Manama, Bahrain, was formed in 1980 by six members who remained with the group throughout its career. The band is recognized as one of the pioneering acts in Bahraini rock music. Osiris released their debut self-titled album Osiris in 1982, which remains one of their most notable works. Following this, they released Myths And Legends in 1984 and Reflections in December 1998. The band's discography includes live albums such as Beyond Control Live (2002) and studio albums like Visions From The Past (2007) and Tales Of The Diver (2010). Osiris is known for their collaborations with prominent progressive rock groups, including Camel and King Crimson. Their music often explores themes related to Egyptian and Arabic culture, as well as elements of wind, fire, experimentalism, and perdition. Despite limited recognition in Bahrain, the band has gained a significant following in Europe.
