Biography

Óscar Maydon, born Óscar René Maydon Mesa on September 20, 1999, in Mexicali, Baja California, is a Mexican singer-songwriter whose rise in regional Mexican music began in 2020. Signing with Rancho Humilde in 2021, he debuted with the album GXLE <3, featuring collaborations with Legado 7, Natanael Cano, and Polo González, establishing his unique sound. In 2023, he broke into the US Billboard Hot 100 with "Fin de Semana," a duet with Junior H, marking a milestone in his career. That same year, he released Distorsión, his second studio album, featuring notable tracks like "Skin de Bandida" with Junior H and Gabito Ballesteros. His collaborations continued to dominate the charts, including "Madonna" with Natanael Cano and "Tu Boda" with Fuerza Regida, both hitting the Top 10 on the US Hot Latin Songs chart. He followed up in 2025 with the album Rico o Muerto, Vol. 1, which featured contributions from Tito Double P ("Pa Mí"), Fuerza Regida ("Tu Boda"), and Victor Mendivil ("ZAZA"), among others.
