Odoru! Disco Muromachi is a six-member funk band formed in Kyoto in June 2012. The band initially included members such as Makomakomakochan (guitar), La Maruoka (bass), and Miki Kuwakado (vocals), with other key members like Mochizuki tambourine shanshan (tambourine) and Ito Owaru(drums). They debuted with the PV "Odoranai Babe" and a demo titled ikkyoku dake DEMO wanna get FUNK!!!. In 2013, they released their first album DISCO MUROMACHI 420 and held their debut event Odoru! Bokura no ponpokorin. Over the years, they underwent several lineup changes, with members joining and leaving, including the additions of Mochizuki tambourine shanshan in September 2013 and Kumayama Seita in September 2014. In 2015, they released their first full album, Rakuchu nite Funk, followed by a national tour. The band continued to evolve, releasing singles and albums such as Atarashii NEW Neo Muromachi in 2016 and MUROTOWN in 2021. In 2022, they released the singles "FEEL SO BAD" and "Comedy". They released an album Murology in 2025, which includes the track "Kenkona Life"
