Biography
October File, a British heavy metal group formed in 2004, drew inspiration for their name from the die Kreuzen album. They released their debut album A Long Walk on a Short Pier (2004) and followed it with several EPs, including How to Lose Friends and Alienate People (2004). Their musical style blended elements of punk, hardcore, and industrial metal, often incorporating political themes. In 2007, they collaborated with Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke on their album Holy Armour from the Jaws of God (2007). They toured extensively, including performances with Fear Factory and Sylosis in February 2010, and appeared at Hammerfest II in Prestatyn, Wales. They also contributed to the soundtrack of the zombie comedy film Zombie Driftwood, featuring their songs "Falter" and "Isolation". Their discography also includes the albums Our Souls to You (2010) and The Application of Loneliness, Ignorance, Misery, Love and Despair â An Introspective of the Human Condition (2014). They disbanded on October 6, 2016.
