OBSG, short for O-Bang-Shin-Gi in Korean, is a project group formed in 2020 by Lee Heemoon, a young and famous gugak singer, with K-trot duo NomNom and band Heosongsewol led by Korean bassist Noh Seonteck. Specific members are leader Lee Heemoon, Shin Seung-tae (NomNom), Cho Won-seok (NomNom), Noh Seonteck (Heosongsewol), Seon Ranhee (Heosongsewol), Park Hyun-joon (Heosongsewol), Yoo Napal (Heosongsewol), Song Seungho (Heosongsewol), Smiley Song (Heosongsewol) and Kim Hyung-gyun (Heosongsewol). Their debut album OBSG (2020) combines Korean traditional music with reggae and other genres such as jazz. This big group has toured for the 2024 Summer Olympics in France, and also held tours in Berlin and Japan the same year. They also represented K-music at a jazz festival in London by presenting a modern reinterpretation of traditional Korean music. The track "DOHWA (2026 Remastered Version)" on the album of the same name was released in April 2026 and entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 83 the next week.
