Biography

Las Nubes, a multilingual garage rock band from Miami, Florida, was formed by vocalistâguitarist Ale Campos. Campos first released Matter That Soils Blackens in 2014 under the moniker Smut, followed by the 2015 EP Conveniently Broken. In 2017 Milgrim joined, and the band adopted the name Las Nubes, issuing their debut album SMVT through Sweat Records in 2019, later earning âband of the yearâ from Miami New Times. A 2020 split EP with Palomino Blond on BUFU Records broadened their reach. Their second album, Tormentas Malsanas, released in 2024 via Sweat Records, Spinda Records, and Godless America and received airplay on KCRW and WMBR.
