Author, composer and performer Hervé-Jean François Ahehehinnou, aka Nikanor, was born on June 16, 1991 in Pahou, Benin. The artist began singing in the fourth grade, in his school choir. In 2013, he released his first single, "Annie", which revealed him to the Beninese public. In 2016, his career exploded with the release of "Manvô, Manvô", which earned him the prize for best hope of Beninese music at the Bénin Top 10 (2016) and artist of the year, in 2017. In 2020, he released his first six-track EP, Vibes and dreams, featuring the hits "Vis ta Vie", "C'est Quel Amour?", and "Yinkô Tché", named best single at the Titanium Music Awards in 2020. He was named Artist of the Year at the Titanium in 2021, and also walked away with the Best Featuring award for "Toi et Moi " with Sessime.
